Zia's Tattered Lace

Lace is 13h and a mare of "true" Welsh type.  She is calm, beautiful and has the athleticism to be a champion hunter.  Lace started her show career in 2004, placing 4th at NEWPA in a large class of 12 mares.  Her placing continually improved, placing 2nd at the Barry Fair and finishing the year as 2004 Reserve Ontario High Points Section B Mare. We expect great things in Lacey's future!  See her dam below.

"Prin" as she is affectionately known, is bred in the "blue". She is a full sister to Cottrell Faberge and Cottrell Royal Consort.  Prin had a very successful 2004 show season, placing 2nd in a large class of 12 mares at NEWPA under Judge G. Wynne Jones. She was 4th at the Canadian ALL Welsh under Judge Daniel Morgan of the Parc Stud.
We are anxiously awaiting Prin's 2005 foal by Fandango.

E.J. is the most wonderful child's pony and everything that a Welsh pony should be.  She patiently babysits young riders and generally prefers the company of people.  She is our favourite!

Betsey is imported from the Zia stud in Texas. This was a stud that appreciated the best of the old "Texas" stud and U.K. bloodlines. Betsey is the wonderful result. She has the finest conformation, delicate features and a wonderful temperament.  Betsey is a mere 12.2h, but consistently produces 13h ponies with Fandango.

Tango is a very special mare, who carries the bloodlines
of wonderful old ponies, like Duntlum's Waltzing Matilda.
She has "EXTREME" movement and wonderful pony type.
She is a very sensible pony with unique colouring.
Registered as a "silver dapple" and referred to as "liver chestnut",
the certain point is that she carries a dilute gene.
Tango will continue our breeding program of brains, beauty and bone!
